Proceeds benefit the Class 7/8 End-of-the-Year trip, a rite of passage for the graduating 8th graders and their classmates. This year the class will travel to the Outer Banks of North Carolina, where they will visit the site of the Wright Brothers' First Flight at Kitty Hawk, kayak in a maritime forest, watch both sunrises and sunsets from the upper deck of their rental home on the barrier island, and spend time together before they go their separate ways to high schools.
