The Waldorf School of Cape Cod was founded in 1974 and offers a Nursery to Grade 8 Waldorf education as well as a variety of Parent-Child programs. We have a highly supportive and involved parent community. There is a strong sense of collegiality among our faculty and a deep commitment to Waldorf education.
The Waldorf School of Cape Cod has been educating students for over 30 years. Jointly accredited through AWSNA and NEASC, our school is situated on a beautiful 13.5 acre site in the quaint village of Cotuit. Lead Nursery Teacher 2019-2020
The Waldorf School of Cape Cod is currently seeking a Lead Nursery Teacher for the 2019-2020 school year. Our ideal candidate has Waldorf early childhood teaching experience, has completed or is near completing early childhood Waldorf teacher training and/or Lifeways training. We seek a colleague who is warm and caring and can also bring their experience with outdoor education. Our ideal candidate should also process strong communication skills, exhibit flexibility, has a passion for building community through outreach events.
Part-Time Class 2 / 3 Teacher for 2019-2020
The Waldorf School of cape cod is a seeking a part-time Class Teacher for a combined second and third grade class for the 2019-2020 school year. Desired qualifications for this grade school teaching position include a Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree, a Waldorf School Teaching Certification and prior teaching experience. The school will consider an applicant currently enrolled in a teacher training program.
Early Childhood Siesta & Aftercare Assistant
The Waldorf School of Cape Cod is seeking an hourly assistant for our Siesta (Extended Day) and Aftercare programs beginning January 2019. Our ideal candidate has some Waldorf early childhood teaching experience and/or Lifeways training. We seek a colleague who is warm, flexible, has a passion for working with young children.
The Siesta and Aftercare Program is our daily mid-day program from 12:30-5:30 that serves the children who are currently enrolled in our early childhood morning programs and wish to stay throughout the remainder of the school day. The program includes story, rest, and indoor and outdoor free play.
