Affordable Tuition Program
The Waldorf School of Cape Cod holds the belief that financial considerations should not solely determine who can or cannot attend our school. We see that every family that embraces and supports Waldorf education and the work at our school as adding value to the school community. Diversity is fundamental to a rich and meaningful educational experience for our whole community - students, parents, and teachers.
We value education as a partnership between the school and its families. To make the school accessible to children of all economic backgrounds, we offer affordable tuition based on your family’s income level.
- During this past school year, 46% of our families received tuition grants that enabled them to send their children to our school.
- Annual adjusted gross income varied greatly from as little as $15,000.
The Affordable Tuition Program asks upfront what a family can pay and works with the family’s supporting documentation that encourages a dialogue. During this past year, following adjustments, families paid from $2,950 to $14,000 for a full-time grades or early childhood student.
Our tuition adjustment program is managed by a third-party called NAIS. To apply for a tuition adjustment you will need to submit the following:
- A tuition adjustment request form
- A copy of your current taxes
- An online adjustment application through www.sss.nais.org. (our school id is 1518)
Once a complete application is submitted, the Tuition Adjustment Committee will review your application. The Director of Admissions will contact you when your tuition adjustment is determined.

More Ways to Assist Families
Multi Child Discount
Families with more than one child enrolled in our school will receive 10% off the 2nd child, 15% off the 3rd child, and 20% off the 4th child enrolled.
New Grades Student Incentive
New elementary school students will receive a 25% tuition reduction (excluding fees) for the first full year enrolled.
Parent Child Transition Credit
Families who participated in our parent child program will receive a $100 credit when enrolled in a nursery program.
Families are eligible to pay tuition in full or make payments through FACTS, a third-party payment management service. Tuition payments through FACTS are automatically withdrawn monthly over 10 months typically June-April either on the 5th or 20th of every month. Families need to create a FACTS account at factsmgt.com and then work with the administrator to establish a payment schedule.
