Grades Tour & Talks

Visit each grade during main lesson and then meet with a faculty member for a short information session. Be sure to bring your questions for the teacher.  Adults only. Please call to register.

Early Childhood Visiting Days

Experience a mini-version of a typical day in an early childhood classroom.  Join one of our teachers in one of the early childhood rooms to participate in free play, a song circle, hear a story and share a healthy snack. This is one of the best ways to get to know our program, speak with the teacher in a relaxed and comfortable atmosphere.

Annual Fundraising Auction

2014 Date To Be Announced!

New Location for 2013: The St. George Greek Orthodox Church, 1130 Falmouth Rd, Rt 28, Centerville, MA.

Our auction features local band The Grab Brothers, beer & wine tasting courtesy of Cape Cod Beer & Plymouth Winery, and a menu of locally grown or sourced ingredients prepared by our school chef, Creighton Peet.  All this for a ticket price of $20 in advance, $25 at the door.  Plus, a fabulous array of live and silent auction items, including a week at an apartment in Paris, a week at a cottage in the South of France, and 4 hours of carpentry work in your home.

 

Holiday Faire

A family favorite for 22 years! Come enjoy the artisan hall, tea room, children’s toys and activities, entertainment, handcrafts, bonfire, outdoor games, home cooked food, music and more!

Community Winter Sing
2013 Date To Be Announced!

Join us in ringing in this festive time of year at our community sing-a-long.  There is no charge for this event but we ask you to bring a non-perishable food item for donation to a local food pantry. 

Meet our Alumni Night
Tuesday, January 7, 2014 from 7pm - 8:30pm

Join us in welcoming back our Alumni who have offered to lend their voices to the ongoing conversation about education and school choice.  Given all the recent press about the benefits of a Waldorf education, come and hear first hand of how a foundation in Waldorf influenced and informed these young adults' life choices.  Bring your curiosity and questions to this engaging exchange. Arts Night and Open House
Thursday, February 6, 2014 from 6:30pm (rain date February 13th)

Original student works of art including watercolor paintings, handwork and sculpture will be on display along with the student's main lesson books.  Short orchestral and choral pieces will be performed by our middle school students. Experience our unique curriculum from our student's perspective and see how art is used to bring our curriculum alive to children.  Classrooms will be open and faculty and staff here to welcome you.

Spring Day and Open House
Saturday, March 22, 2014 from 10am - 1pm (lunch served at 12pm)

Celebrate the promise of spring by creating festive crafts with your children and sharing a picnic lunch.  Plant seeds, make paper butterflies, color eggs, see some barnyard animals such as chicks, piglets and bunnies.   A special seasonal lunch will be catered by Chef Peet and available for purchase after 12pm.  Treat yourself or bring your own.
Classrooms will also be open and faculty on site to talk to you about our developmental curriculum.
