Flexible Guest Block Teacher for Grade 5
Beginning in January 2015, the Waldorf School of Cape Cod is looking for a guest block teacher for its Grade 5. The ideal candidate would have the flexibility to entertain the possibility of continued part-time teaching throughout the remainder of the school year.

The Waldorf School of Cape Cod is celebrating its 30th year of teaching excellence on the Cape. We are an AWSNA full member school, dual accredited through AWSNA and NEASC, and our early childhood program is certified through WECAN.
Our school is situated on a beautiful 13.5 acre site in the quaint village of Cotuit. Located ninety minutes from Boston, the Cape is an idyllic setting to raise children with ocean, bays, lakes and woods to explore for miles in all directions.
Our current enrollment is 110 students. We have a highly supportive and involved parent community. Through collaboration and grounded in a solid commitment to Waldorf education, our faculty greatly enjoys their work together out of a strong consensus model.

Located within driving distance to Boston, the Cape is an idyllic setting to raise children with ocean, bays, lakes and woods to explore for miles in all directions. Our current enrollment is 121 students and we have been growing. We have a highly supportive and involved parent community and board. Through strong collegial collaboration, grounded in a solid commitment to Waldorf education, our faculty greatly enjoys their work together out of a strong consensus model.
Our school is located within the village of Cotuit. The natural beauty of the area is unprecedented, with water and beaches everywhere. A historical atmosphere prevails in all the surrounding communities, with the nearby towns of Plymouth and Sandwich being some of the oldest permanently inhabited areas of the country. We are within one hour’s drive of all that the cities of Boston and Providence have to offer. Also within a reasonable driving distance are the Waldorf training centers at Sunbridge College in Spring Valley, New York and Antioch New England Graduate School in southern New Hampshire.
